By NO means am I going down the "see white people deal with this, too," especially in the situation described -it's a white guy feeling excluded in an upscale high income community - NOT THE SAME but building on the story may help white people in denial see our experience. People need to be given the space to be angry about that. On the other hand you don't want to get into the "see, white folks experience this stuff too" situation because it simply is on a different level that results in systematic oppression.
